He's been compared to the greats: Paul McCartney, Captain Beefheart, Carly Rae Jepsen. But Larkin does something completely unique with his debut LP, the aptly titled "Fiddlings", a mix of candid secret recordings of family and pieces of Larkin fiddling on the piano. The opening and closing tracks start the same way, with an "AAAaaaa", a perfect circle, reflective of how humans are all reincarnated after death in an endless cycle of misery, boredom and unfulfilled dreams.
